This story here has been a favourite for many years now, and I have probably sent it to hundreds of you around this time of the year, either as part of my work mailers or WhatsApp seasons’ greetings.

What I love about it is how the illusion of miracles and magic gets taken from a mysterious superpower, and put in the hands of a kid.

A lot of us have a very small sense of self. We are awed by many things in the world around us, and constantly in admiration of others achievements. But we often hold ourselves back when it comes to striving. We don’t trust ourselves enough to be able to dream big. To have the courage to pursue any of the dreams if it seems outside of what our environment considers the norm.

Just like this story, my latest book Think Like an Innovator too is intended to take words like ‘innovator’ and ‘innovation’ off the throne we often place them on, and make it accessible to all of us.

Because we all have extraordinary powers of affecting change.

The book simply offers the mindset and suggests a few tools you could use to create miracles and magic of your own.

Merry Christmas! 🎁🎅
